Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx accused of sexually assaulting a woman in 2015

Actor Jamie Foxx has been accused of sexual assault by a woman and the case goes back to 2015. TMZ reported the name of the woman who has made the allegations is Jane Doe. She alleged Foxx assaulted her at the Catch restaurant rooftop in New York City in August 2015. The 29-year-old actor released a statement on her Instagram on Wednesday- “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.” “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time,” she added. The Oscar winner, 55, was recently seen shooting the upcoming Netflix film “Back in Action” in Atlanta, entertainment website The Hollywood Reporter said. “Back in Action” reunites Foxx with Cameron Diaz, who took an eight-year break from acting before Foxx convinced her for the action comedy. Diaz last worked with Foxx in 2014’s “Annie”. They also starred in 1999’s “Any Given Sunday” The film is directed by Seth Gordon and also features Glenn Close.
