Not the complete picture? Hrithik Roshan, Kangana Ranaut hugging pic taken out of context
The photo of Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut hugging was seen as 'evidence' that they were a couple, but Hrithik's then wife Sussanne was at the same bash
The Hrithik Roshan-Kangana Rananut fight has devolved into a series of attempts by both parties to prove that the other is lying.
The latest development comes from Hrithik Roshan’s side, with lawyers for the actor claiming that the recently leaked photos showing him embracing Kangana, have been taken out of context.
The image in question shows Hrithik hugging Kangana while she looks into the camera, and seems to have been cropped out of a larger group photo. Sources close to Kangana had said that the photo belied Hrithik’s statement that he had no relationship with Kangana – social, romantic or otherwise – outside of their work.
However, after the photo mentioned went viral, Hrithik’s team released a series of images, seemingly from the same party, that shows the actor and Kangana were part of a larger group. Among the guests at the party were Arjun Rampal and his wife Mehr Jesia, designer Nandita Mahtani and rumoured beau Dino Morea, and Hrithik’s then wife Sussanne. The new images not only show Hrithik in a cinch with Sussanne, but also show that, well – hugs were being exchanged pretty freely at the bash.
The gathering at which the photos have been taken is believed to have taken place around six years ago. Hrithik and Kangana would have worked together on Kites at the time.
On Tuesday, a lawyer from Hritihk Roshan’s team told IANS that the previous leaked photo of Hrithik and Kangana embracing did not give a complete picture of what actually transpired.
“It’s shocking that people can go to these lengths to establish a lie. They are lying and using dangerous ways to camouflage that lie. They are making efforts to blur the line between what is true and what is concocted. Please differentiate between bona fide evidence and a made up argument,” the lawyer said.
“We will not abandon this struggle just because there is an attempt to muddle up things. We want to know what is their struggle about proving that they have had something to do with our client? What do they want to achieve through that?” the spokesperson added.
