Netflix's The Ba***ds of Bollywood: Who is Kranti Redkar, Sameer Wankhede's wife & actress, who took a dig at Aryan Khan?

Sameer Wankhede again grabbed headlines when Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, took an indirect dig at him with a look-alike of Sameer Wankhede, who was shown mocking the former NCB director.

While Wankhede filed a defamation case against Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan owned Red Chillies Entertainment and Netflix for allegedly maligning his reputation in their series ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ and sought Rs 2 crore in damages which he wanted to donate to the Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital for cancer patients, the Delhi High Court grilled IRS officer and former NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede over the maintainability of his defamation suit.

Amid this legal battle, Wankhede’s wife and Marathi actress Kranti Redkar took a sly dig at Aryan and his show on social media. She shared a video of her husband delivering a speech about drug issues in the country and wrote, “Drug problem is deep; it’s not something to be made fun of or laughed at. Hope people realise the seriousness of this problem before it’s too late. Keep up the good work @swankhede.irs, your contribution to society is profound. And we are all very proud of you.

Who is Kranti Redkar?

Kranti Redkar, who was born and raised in Mumbai, is a Marathi actress and made her debut with Sun Asavi Ashi. She featured in movies like Sakkha Savatra, Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho, Teen Bayka Fajiti Aika, Kho-Kho, and Sugar Salt Ani Prem among others_._ She garnered fame for featuring in the iconic track Kombadi Palali from Bharat Jadhav starrer Jatra: Hyalagaad Re Tyalagaad.__ In 2015, she made her directorial debut with Kaakan. Kranti has also featured in Hindi shows like Chittod Ki Rani and Simply Sapne.
