Netflix’s ‘The Ba***ds Of Bollywood’ marked the directorial debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan that streamed on the OTT platform from September 18. It’s a show that shows the dazzling and daunting world of Bollywood. It has a barrage of cameos, including a scene featuring Ranbir Kapoor towards the end of the show.
The series has been receiving rave reviews from critics and the audiences and many scenes are going viral on social media. But one particular scene has landed the makers in trouble.
The one scene where the Animal actor can be seen vaping (smoking an electronic cigarette) has been used without any disclaimer, and it has caught the eye of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). The makers or anybody from the show is yet to address the controversy.
National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) member Priyank Kanoongo issues statement

Manish Chaudhari reacts
In a statement to Bollywood Hungama, the actor said, “It’s unfortunate that it’s something that people are focusing on. When something works, a lot of things happen. We are very lucky that 99.9% of things that are happening around the series are all positive. So, I am very happy. And I am sure there’s a logistical, technical way of working around that problem.”
Notice issued to the Commissioner of Police against Aryan Khan ’s show
Priyank added in his statement, “We have issued a notice to the Commissioner of Mumbai Police. We have asked him to file an FIR under the appropriate sections and take legal action against this actor, this production company, and this OTT platform.”
