Netflix's 'The Ba***ds Of Bollywood' actor Bobby Deol joins 'Saiyaara' fame Ahaan Panday's next with Yash Raj Films

Bobby Deol, who was last seen in Netflix and Aryan Khan’s The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, has signed Yash Raj Films’ next that stars Saiyaara fame Ahaan Panday and Sharvari as per a report by Midday. The film will be directed by Ali Abbaz Zafar.

What to expect from the film

A source said, “It will be incorrect to call him the villain. His character is in an authoritative position in the film, but there is more than meets the eye.”

It added, “As the story progresses, Bobby’s character is shown having gray shades, which influences his dynamics with the hero.”

What to expect from Bobby Deol' s role?

“Ali and producer Aditya Chopra were certain from the start that it can’t be a menacing and an all-black role as Bobby has done such parts.”

“The director crafted a larger-than-life persona, keeping Bobby in mind, but at the same time, gave the character personal motivations and shades of gray.”

Ahaan Panday and YRF’s reunion

Another source was quoted saying, “It was Aditya Chopra who suggested to Ali that he should go with Ahaan as a film with a young star would add to the surprise factor for audience.”

It added, “Aditya Chopra feels Ahaan’s underexposure is his biggest strength because after Saiyaara’s success, people will now be all the more excited to see what he does next. Adi and Ali will unlock a totally different side to Ahaan’s acting in this yet untitled film.”

The source further informed, “The script is locked and the music-seatings have already begun. Ali Abbas Zafar and Aditya Chopra are planning to take the film on floors around the first quarter of 2026.”
