Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s OTT debut Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is finally streaming on Netflix. And since thy name is Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the scale and opulence have to be unprecedented. The show isn’t just extravagant but also enormously expensive in its craftsmanship. A report by Bollywood Hungama stated it took around Rs 200 crore to make this vision come alive on the screens. And Bhansali has taken home Rs 60-65 crore.
The series boasts off an ensemble of actors like Manisha Koirala , Aditi Rao Hydari, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharmin Segal, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Fardeen Khan, Richa Chadha, Shekhar Suman, and Adhyayan Suman. Here’s how much they got paid as per a report by FilmiBeat:

Manisha Koirala- 1 crore

In its review of the series, Firstpost wrote- “Netflix’s Heeramandi was a comeback for both Manish Koirala and Fardeen Khan and most importantly both of them are playing their age. The beauty about Manisha Koirala is that she is so beautifully flawed and those lines under her eyes make her even more attractive. Bhansali has shown the different age groups of the courtesans in the most realistic way, not trying to hide anybody’s flaws behind the makeup. In fact, each and every characters in the show are ‘perfectly imperfect’.”
