Netflix’s ‘Delhi Crime 3’ actress Huma Qureshi recently weight on the debate that happened on social media after an episode of Two Much featuring Kajol, Twinkle Khanna, and Karan Johar spoke about physical and emotional infidelity, and the Barsaat actress said Raat Gayi Baat Gayi. Janhvi Kapoor said both the forms of cheating are ‘bad.’
Huma Qureshi has also reflected on the same and said in a statement, “Cheating is cheating. What is physical, what is emotional? I am a very old-school, simple type of girl.”
She added, “I am very black and white in this matter. Don’t be with anyone if you can’t be loyal. If you are with someone, then be properly. What is this free pass?"
“If someone asks me in a funny way, I’ll tell them — just don’t let them know about
this. If you get caught… you will get beaten!”
On Jolly LLB 2
Huma Qureshi has been a part of the Hindi film industry for the last 13 years. She rose to fame right after her smashing debut with Anurag Kashyap’s 2012 drama Gangs of Wasseypur. She has been receiving a lot of rave reviews for her performance in Netflix’s Delhi Crime 3 as well that’s now streaming on the OTT platform.
In an interview with Mid-day, the actress spoke about Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 and how her role was edited. Huma was quoted saying, “Our first collaboration was on Jolly LLB 2. It was not a very big part, but during the edit, my role became even smaller. I remember being really upset about it and saying, ‘I’m not doing anything in this film.”
“There was a very strong scene that was there in the trailer but never made it to the film, in which I scream at Akshay sir’s character and show him the right path. That never made it to the final film, Huma Qureshi added.
