Bodyguard, a BBC show which is distributed by the streaming giant outside the UK and Ireland, got Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden the Best Performance by an Actor in a Drama Television Series. The show is promoted as a Netflix Original outside of the above mentioned countries. The big night also significantly boosted Netflix’s position in the stock market, as reported by Variety . After the star-studded event on Sunday night, the streaming giant’s shares recorded a 6 percent jump. Other big winner this year include Bohemian Rhapsody, Green Book and The Americans.
