Narendra Jha, Bollywood actor best known for roles in Kaabil and Raees, dies of cardiac arrest at 55

Narendra Jha suffered two major attacks a few days ago and was on complete rest suggested by the doctors at his farmhouse, where he suffered a third attack.

Prominent actor Narendra Jha, who made a huge mark in Bollywood and TV, passed away on Wednesday morning suffering a sudden cardiac arrest at his farmhouse in Wada, Palghar. He was 55.

Jha was seen in successful films like Raees, Kaabil, Haider and many more. One of his most successful projects from his early life remains Mandira Bedi's Shanti. He has also acted in several TV commercials.

The Indian Express reports that it was the third attack and the actor could not survive it. The attack happened sometime around 5 am in the morning when he was accompanied by his wife Pankaja Thakur at the farmhouse. He was under treatment at the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in the city. He had suffered two major attacks a few days ago and was on complete rest suggested by the doctors at his farmhouse.

Born in Bihar's Madhubani, Jha made debut in Bollywood in the 90s. He was also seen in Hrithik Roshan starrer Mohenjo Daro. Jha was reportedly playing a pivotal role in Prabhas's Saaho which also stars Shraddha Kapoor.

CINTAA tweeted confirming the news of the actor's death this morning.

The news of his untimely demise came as shock to many. Soon, Twitter was flooded with condolence messages.
