Namrata Sheth on response to 'Karmma Calling': 'Gratifying to know people are enjoying my performance'

Actress Namrata Sheth who is seen in Disney Plus Hotstar’s latest web show Karmma Calling has been getting a great response for her performance in the show. Namrata who plays the role of Karma Talwar has received a raving response and this appreciation makes her feel elated. Talking about the response she is getting, Namrata shares, “I’m so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to play this character. It’s so gratifying to know people are watching and enjoying the performance, it’s all you can hope for as an actor.” Karmma Calling that has released on Disney Plus Hotstar has been very special for Namrata. She auditioned for the part bagging this role. With the great feedback coming in now, her hard work seems to have paid off. In its review of the show, Firstpost observed, “As far as the performance goes, a brilliant performer like Raveena Tandon who has given the viewers so many good shows and films on OTT and on the big screen looked raw in her performance. The story line was not well thought and the immature performances of all the actors was a bigger disaster. It looked like all of them needed to go back to their acting schools.” It added, “Taken from The American hit show ‘Revenge’ couldn’t match up to the Indian sensibility. Set in Alibag the show in their very immature way talks about the frivolous yet powerful rich crowd of the place and their life. When you are depicting that class of people there should be a certain panache in the way they carry themselves, but neither their attires, their fashion sense or their conduct showed any style.”
