Nagarjuna singing 'Kotha Kotha Bhasha' from Nirmala Convent is a treat for fans

In the latest version of the song ‘Kotha Kotha Bhasha’ from Nirmala Convent , Akkineni Nagarjuna surprises fans with his singing skills — and offers a welcome change from his usual image. The actor launched the song on Twitter on Saturday, 23 July, as promised, in the run-up to the release of the movie. While the original version of the sung by AR Ameen set the right mood for the proposed story line of the movie, this cover version too will get you humming. [caption id=“attachment_2911450” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![Akkineni Nagarjuna](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/nagarjuna-380.jpg) Akkineni Nagarjuna[/caption] The first version of this romantic song which was released at the start of the year was maestro AR Rahman’s son Ameen’s debut song. Nirmala Convent, directed by G Naga Koteshwara Rao, is a romantic take on two school children and Ameen’s voice did complete justice to the score of this film. In this new version, Nagarjuna takes over the mic for the first time in years and is refreshing. We can’t help but go back to Greeku Veerudu with this fresh tune. The song is a good listen and the actor has experimented with his look as well, setting the tone for what we can expect from the film. Move over, King Nagarjuna, welcome back the Manmadhudu. While the song itself is very breezy, the actor is effortless with his singing and does not try too hard to impress. Like the first video, this too features Roshan and Shriya Sharma who are the lead actors of the film and are all set to make their debut with Nirmala Convent. Shriya Sharma, as a child artist, was previously seen in many movies including Enthiran, Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic and Sillunu Oru Kadhal. Meanwhile, Roshan, actor Srikanth’s son, plays perfect companion. Roshan and Shriya give us a glimpse of their chemistry in the movie and Nagarjuna plays the perfect, hip godfather to the couple. If you are a Nagarjuna fan, then this one is an absolute treat!
