The makers of Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India and Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu, two of the most anticipated Telugu releases of the year, have confirmed that their films will hit the screens as originally planned on 27 April. However, the teams have brushed aside the rumours via official statements. In a statement, Naa Peru Surya team confirmed that the shoot of the climax will commence from Monday (12 February) in Hyderabad. The entire principal cast will be part of this two-week schedule and the entire talkie portion will be wrapped up by month-end. The makers confirmed that they’re on track for grand release on April 27. Being directed by Vakkantham Vamsi, the film features Allu Arjun in the role of a military officer with anger issues. The team recently completed a grueling shooting schedule in extreme climatic conditions in and around Kashmir. Apparently, Arjun and the team shot in minus 12 degrees condition. To play his part, Arjun underwent month-long training with a US-based trainer to achieve the desired look. The film also stars Anu Emmanuel and popular Tamil star Arjun in crucial roles. The film has music by Vishal-Sekhar, while filmmaker-lensman Rajeev Ravi is cranking the camera. Meanwhile, the makers have Bharat Ane Nenu have confirmed that the entire shooting of the project will be wrapped up by March and the film will release on 27 April as originally announced. Being directed Koratala Siva, who has teamed up with Mahesh Babu for the second time after Srimanthudu, the film is being produced by DVV Entertainments. Kiara Advani makes her Telugu debut via the project, which has music by Devi Sri Prasad. The film will feature Mahesh in the role of a Chief Minister for the first time in his career. The release of Kaala has been advanced following the delay in the completion of 2.0, which was originally slated to release on 27 April. The project features Rajinikanth in the role of a slum lord turned gangster and he has joined hands with director Pa. Ranjith for the second time after Kabali. The film also stars Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil, Samuthirakani and Pankaj Tripathi in key roles. The film’s story is rumoured to be based on the life of Mumbai-based gangster-turned-reformer Haji Mastan.
