Mubarakan's new song 'Jatt Jaguar' is an energetic, fun track full of Punjabi references

‘Jatt Jaguar’ the new song from Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor’s Mubarakan is out. The film stars Arjun Kapoor in a double role with Anil Kapoor playing their uncle.

Mubarakan is a story about twin brothers  Karan and Charan. Karan has grown up in London, and is a hip, modern man; while Charan has spent his whole life in Punjab, which explains the turban and the kurta-pajamas.

It seems like ‘Jatt Jaguar’ is an introductory song to the twin characters of the actor.  The song has a very Punjabi pop feel to it with an energetic beat that you might hear from an artiste like Diljit Dosanjh.

So the song is really authentic and has fun lyrics to match penned by Kumaar. This might be because Navraj Hans (Daler Mehnedi’s son-in-law) sings the best part of the song.

The song is also sung by Vishal Dadlani, Apeksha Dandeka and is composed by Amaal Mallik.

Contrary to popular belief, Mubarakan is not Arjun’s first double role. He has previously done a double-role in Aurangzeb. But this is the first film where we would see Arjun and his uncle Anil Kapoor coming together.

The visual of the song features Karan dancing in London, while Charan’s parts have been set in Punjab.
