'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold story' bowls over box office with Rs 66 crore in three days
M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story has also been made tax-free in Uttar Pradesh.
Neeraj Pandey's directorial M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story collected Rs 66 crore in three days in India.
According to a statement, issued on behalf of the makers of the Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story collected Rs 20.6 crore on Saturday taking the two-day collection to Rs 41.9 crore.
Furthering this, trade analyst Taran Adarsh informed that on day three, the film collected Rs 24 crore.

The biopic on Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni has also been made tax-free in Uttar Pradesh.
A late night tweet from the chief minister's office informed of the decision taken by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. The film's hero Sushant Singh Rajput met the chief minister and his family this week, before its release on Friday.
Produced by Fox Star Studios and Arun Pandey of Inspired Entertainment, the film also features Kiara Advani, Disha Patani and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles.
"We thank India for this overwhelming love for the biopic on Mahendra Singh Dhoni's life. He is the son of the soil and it's absolutely amazing to see that we have lived up to the expectations of the cricket fans, his fans and the movie going audience," Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox star studios, said in a statement.
Arun Pandey, producer and chairman of Inspired Entertainment, has thanked the country for supporting the film.
"We can only say 'Thank You, India'. We have tried to do justice to your love for Mahi," Pandey added.
