Morphing Tiger into Kareena: Shroff responds

Anyone who had seen this poster (picture below) must have immediately worried about the fate of all those hopeful young girls who want to land a fairness cream commercial as their ticket to Bollywood. Because not only did Tiger Shroff get a jump the queue pass to Bollywood thanks to father Jackie Shroff, the equanimity exuded by his face in the poster is uncannily similar to that on a female model’s face as she greets a brighter, happier, promising world after washing her face with an skin lightening, job-getting, boyfriend-grabbing face-wash. His facial expression is the closest any man has come to emulating Aishwarya Rai in Jodha Akbar! The lack of masculinity on Shroff’s face, obviously, hasn’t missed the attention of meme makers. Therefore, the came up with a meme which shows how Shroff can be transformed to look like Kareena Kapoor in four easy steps. It was quite funny. I take it as a compliment to be compared to a woman as pretty as Kareena Kapoor Khan. She’s so beautiful and, at the end of the day, beauty is beauty. You can take it the way you want to. I can sit and sulk all day, wondering why people are doing this to me. Yes, people have been making fun of my name and, of how I look, but the good thing is, everyone is noticing me; it shows that I’ve made an impression. If they weren’t [talking about me], then it would be a problem,” the young actor told The Hindustan Times during an interview. In fact, like Alia Bhatt jokes, Shroff has more followers thanks to his potential to get trolled than anything else. There are entire Facebook groups dedicated to trolling what  Tiger Shroff.   He has been even compared to Priyanka Gandhi. The young actor is taking the below-the-belt jibes on his chin. However, here’s hoping his memes don’t eclipse the real him.
