While America was glued to Super Bowl 51, Miley Cyrus opted to contemplate something other than football. The 24-year-old 'Wrecking Ball' pop-star decided to perform Lakshmi Puja at her home on Sunday, 5 February 2017 as reported by The Daily Mail.
The former Hannah Montana star posted several images to Instagram explaining how she had spent her day.
Her house had a traditional Hindu prayer set-up with a photo of Goddess Lakshmi along with an offering of fruits and halwa. Incense sticks and diyas also decorated the scene to give an authentic vibe to the setting. The pop-star also seemed to have engaged the services of a pundit to read the puja mantras for the occasion.
'#FruitBowl over Super... #offering,' captioned the Wrecking Ball singer.
She also posted two boomerang videos; gives us insight into how she spent the puja day.
