Michael Beach signed as part of DC Comics standalone film Aquaman

Los Angeles: Actor Michael Beach has been cast in Warner Bros DC Comics stand-alone film Aquaman.

He joins Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Ludi Lin, Dolph Lundgren, Temuera Morrison and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the film.

According to Warner Bros, Beach will play Jesse Kane, part of a group of high-seas hijackers who has a fateful interaction with Aquaman, reported Deadline.

James Wan is directing the movie, which will hit the US theatres during Christmas season next year.
