Ever since the first-look poster of ‘Chandu Champion’ jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan was released, nationwide excitement has been seen to watch Kartik Aaryan in a never-before-seen avatar. The poster featuring Kartik Aaryan in ‘langot’ generated extremely positive chatter. In the film, Aaryan essays the role of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist.

In the 1965 war against Pakistan, Petkar sustained nine wounds that left him permanently injured. He won the gold medal for the nation in the 1972 Paralympics in Germany. The athlete also ended up making history in the 50-meter freestyle swimming with a timing of 37.33 seconds. He was awarded the Padmashree in 2018.
