Megastar Mammootty’s latest film White has hit the screens on Friday and it also marks the debut of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi in the Malayalam film industry.
Directed by Uday Ananthan, the romantic entertainer is the story of Prakash Roy, a billionaire in London, and Roshni Menon, a software engineer. The film narrates what happens when a not-so-young Roy falls for the 25-year-old Menon.
Apart from London, parts of the film have been shot in Kochi and Mumbai.
After Kasaba created magic at the box office earlier this month, this is Mammootty’s second release in July.
Earlier this year, Huma Qureshi had told IANS, “I am glad that my south debut was with him and nobody else.”
On the release day the actress shared her excitement on her Twitter account.
