Makdee actress Shweta Basu Prasad marries longtime boyfriend Rohit Mittal in Pune

Shweta Basu Prasad, who won the National Award for her work in Vishal Bharadwaj's 2002 film Makdee, married longtime boyfriend Rohit Mittal as per traditional Bengali rituals on 13 December in Pune. The actress wore a Sabyasachi Benarasi sari in pink and accessorised it with Amrapali jewelry. Rohit wore a black achkan churidar for the wedding.

The pre-wedding festivities for the actress began with the aiburobhaat (Bengali bridal shower), followed by the mehendi and haldi ceremonies. This was followed by a ring ceremony which took place at The Grand Hyatt, Pune.

As per Times Now, Anurag Kashyap played cupid for the duo.

Shweta is currently playing Nandini on Star Plus show Chandra Nandini.
