Maisie Williams' rep says leaked topless photos of 19-year-old Game of Thrones star not explicit in nature

For the past few days now, news that ’topless’ photos of Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams were leaked on social media, has been doing the rounds. AP photo[/caption] Williams, who turned 19 this year, found fame playing the spirited Arya Stark over six seasons (so far) of HBO’s fantasy epic, based on the Song Of Ice and Fire book series by GRR Martin. Earlier this week, reports that topless pictures of the young actress had surfaced on Reddit gained traction, with the images seemingly going viral. However, a representative for Maisie issued a clarification stating that the ’topless’ images were not explicit in nature, and that they had been ’lifted’ from the actress’ social media account. As per the statement, the image that went viral depicted Maisie sunbathing on a rock with two of her friends, with her back to the camera. It was shared by her on her Facebook page. “The images online were shared from Maisie’s personal social media account,” the actress’ spokesperson told Page Six. “The images are not explicit in nature, but pictures of Maisie and close friends at a spa at a recent visit in Japan.” Maisie’s spokesperson did not elaborate on how the leak occurred.
