Mahesh Bhatt’s brother Mukesh Bhatt has been a part of the Hindi film industry for over four decades. His partnership with Mahesh Bhatt is for the ages as under their production house, they made many blockbusters, musical sensations, and launched more than a dozen faces that became stars and legends. But they split after 32 years of partnership due to reasons best known to them.
In an interview with Lehren Retro, Mukesh Bhatt heaped praises on his brother and said, “I won’t get swayed by what someone says. Mahesh Bhatt is my God, he is my elder brother. I love him deeply and always will. I’m not saying this as a jumla, I say it from my heart. I wish him respect, love, and prayers for happiness because he is a very good human being.”
On not being invited for Alia Bhatt ’s wedding
The filmmaker was quoted saying, “I will be a hypocrite if I say, I didn’t feel bad. Of course, I felt bad. I love Alia a lot and not just her, even Shaheen. So when she got married, I thought meri bachi ki shadi hai (my daughter is getting married).”
Bhatt added, “When I got to know that Alia is pregnant and then she had a baby, meri aankhein taras gayi Raha ko dekhne ke liye (My eyes yearn to see Raha). I love kids a lot.”
Mukesh Bhatt also said, “I didn’t even try because I didn’t want to put her in a position of discomfort. I didn’t want to put her in a position where she had to see how will her father feel if I come and meet her.”
Alia Bhatt has gone into more detail about her battle with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Alia, in an interview with The Lallantop, said, “I have been zoning out from things since childhood. I would zone out while in the classroom or in the middle of a conversation. Just recently, I took up a psychological test and after that I realised I have ADHD; my spectrum is quite high.”
