Mahesh Babu starrer Guntur Kaaram has not performed up to the mark at the box office, however, the peppy track Kurchi Madathapetti has turned out to be a humongous chartbuster among the audience.

And now, it has emerged as the fastest video song to reach 300 million views (133 days) beating Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast song Arabic Kuthu.

On the work front, Mahesh Babu will be next seen in SS Rajamouli’s SSMB29. The filmmaker, recently, was in Japan for a special screening of RRR  . The actor, during his appearance at the event, shared that the writing for SSMB29 is completed and the film is in the pre-production process. In a video shared by Gulte.com, the RRR director can be seen interacting with the audience as he said, “We started my next film. We completed the writing and we are in the pre-production process. But we haven’t finished the casting yet. Only hero is locked, his name is Mahesh Babu. He is a very good actor. Many of you know him. He is very handsome. Hopefully, we finish the film a little bit fast and during the release I will bring him here.”

As reported by News 18, Mahesh Babu starrer is said to draw inspiration from the Indiana Jones franchise. Additionally, speculations are also rife that Mahesh Babu will showcase a six-pack physique in the movie as his character will possess traits similar to Lord Hanuman. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are reportedly in talks for the film. However, the makers have yet to confirm the name of the lead actress in the film.
