Lunchbox’ star Nimrat Kaur has landed her first international project. She will appear in season 4 of the popular political thriller ‘Homeland’. The 32-year-old actress, who is currently shooting in Capetown for the series, made the announcement on Twitter. [caption id=“attachment_1644895” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]

Kaur also confessed that she was not a viewer of the series and watched the pilot only after her screen test. “Pretty fun for someone who watched the pilot after the screen test! Season 4 Homeland it is,” she said. Starring Claire Danes, Rupert Friend, Mandy Patinkin and Tracy Letts, the new season of Homeland is expected to debut on October 5. Nimrat’s role in the series has not been disclosed yet. The actress won international acclaim, playing a lonely woman who starts exchanging notes with a stranger through a misplaced dabba in Riteish Batra’s ‘Lunchbox’. PTI
