Lucknow Central: Deepak Dobriyal joins Farhan Akhtar in jail in film's new poster
Deepak Dobriyal took to Twitter to reveal his look in Lucknow Central. The actor will attempt jailbreak in the film alongside Farhan Akhtar.
Farhan Akhtar had earlier released the first look of Ranjit Tiwari's directorial debut Lucknow Central on Twitter. Just like Akhtar, Dobriyal, too, will play a prisoner, as reported by News 18. Although not much has been revealed about his character, from the trailer, it looks like Dobriyal will play Akhtar's partner-in-crime.
Lucknow Central is a film about jailbreak involving Akhtar, who plays a simpleton in the film. Going by his first look, he looks like just another boy from a small town, trying to make it big. The trailer of the film, which was released shortly after the first look, gave us an insight into the characters and their stories.
Akhtar's character wants to start his own music band in the film, his crude demeanour making the irony too obvious to miss. Whatever turn the story might take, watching the two multifaceted actors together would certainly amplify the whole experience.
Lucknow Central also stars Diana Penty, Gippy Grewal, Ronit Roy, Deepak Dobriyal and Rajesh Sharma. It is produced by Nikkhil Advani's Emmay Entertainment and is slated to release on 15 September.

Lucknow Central is inspired by a real-life band called Healing Hearts, comprising inmates of Adarsh Karagar jail. The band was formed with the help of senior police superintendent V K Jain
