Loveyapa actress Khushi Kapoor on getting nose job, lip fillers: 'People think plastic is the biggest insult you can...'

Khushi Kapoor, daughter of legendary actress Sridevi and sister of Janhvi Kapoor, recently opened up on undergoing cosmetic enhancements including a nose job and lip fillers.

Admitting to being an ‘attention seeker’ since childhood, The Archies actress openly discussed cosmetic procedures.

“I don’t think it’s such a big deal. I see like the term plastic… Plastic is like people think it’s the biggest insult you can give someone," she told Curly Tales.

“Before I even stepped into the industry, people had a preconceived notion of what I’m like and who I am. Most of it was negative," said Khushi reflecting on her journey in the film industry.

In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, the actress shared her thoughts on whether overexposing on social media might impact box office business and said, “I don’t really think social media and box office have that much of co-relation. I think at the end of it, the story and your skills are kind of what is drawing people to watch the film. I do feel like there are setbacks but also advantages to social media as an actor. Obviously, there’s a lot of uncertainty in this field that and you can’t be shooting every day of the whole year so a lot of the work you do get is on social media and I guess it does keep you busy in a certain way, but I also think it’s personally I wouldn’t want to share every single aspect of my life, but that’s just my opinion. But also certain things you don’t really have much control over.”

She also spoke about Aamir Khan comparing her to mother Sridevi at the trailer launch and asserted, “I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go anywhere near how amazing my mom was, but it was a very nice and sweet thing to say.”

Khushi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of Loveyapa, which features Junaid Khan as a lead. It will release on 7th February.
