Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the most renowned filmmakers in the South film industry. However, the director announced that he will take retirement from directing after making 10 films. After Leo, Lokesh Kanagaraj will be joining forces with Baahubali star Prabhas for a yet-to-be-titled drama. The speculations were rift that the movie is going to be the last installment in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). Now, the Vikram maker has cleared the air. Let us see what he has to say. Lokesh Kanagaraj clears the air on his next with Prabhas During a recent media interaction, Lokesh Kanagaraj rubbished these speculations saying that the Prabhas starrer is not going to be the final chapter of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). He further stated that the movie would be a stand-alone project. Lokesh Kanagaraj also mentioned that Kamal Hasaan-led Vikram 2 will put an end to the highly appreciated Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Given that the film will not be a part of the LCU, the audience can expect a new storyline, most likely with the director’s trademark action element.   Both Lokesh Kanagaraj and Prabhas are huge names in the industry. Ever since this untitled titled venture was confirmed, movie buffs are been super thrilled to see what these two come up with next. What’s next for Prabhas Up next, Prabhas will lead Prashanth Neel’s action entertainer, Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire. With Shruti Haasan as the leading lady, the project will lock horns with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki on 22 December.

In addition to this, Prabhas will also headline Nag Ashwin’s epic science fiction drama, Kalki 2898 AD. The primary cast of the movie will also include Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan in key roles. Lokesh Kanagaraj and Thalapathy Vijay’s About Leo As far as Lokesh Kanagaraj is concerned, he has Thalapathy Vijay’s highly-awaited Leo waiting to be released. The project enjoys an ensemble cast with Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon,  Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan and Priya Anand in pivotal roles.   Prominent composer Anirudh Ravichander provided the music for the action thriller.  Backed by the banner of Seven Screen Studio, Leo is scheduled to reach the cinema halls on 19 October. Lokesh Kanagaraj’s lineup also includes Thalaivar 171, Vikram 2 and Kaithi 2.
