Leonardo DiCaprio starrer Killers of the Flower Moon producer's wife, 39, dies after jumping from balcony

Isabelle Thomas, the wife of Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro starrer Killers of the Flower Moon producer Bradley Thomas, died by suicide on Monday at a Los Angeles hotel. According to online records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, Isabelle died by suicide, with ‘multiple traumatic injuries’ recorded as the cause. According to law enforcement officials, Isabelle Thomas jumped from a balcony at the Hotel Angeleno in West Los Angeles on Monday night and was found dead at the site when first responders arrived. As per TMZ, Thomas and Isabelle, who married in 2018, have two children. TMZ’s law enforcement sources also report that no suicide note was left behind. Her death is currently being investigated by the Medical Examiner’s Office. Thomas is one of the producers of Martin Scorsese’s recent film,  Killers of the Flower Moon, which garnered him an Oscar nomination for Best Picture this year.

Marvel actress Jameela, 37, mourned the demise of Isabelle and took to her Instagram page to remind followers to “put loved ones first”. “I was supposed to see her a few weeks ago and couldn’t because I was busy with stupid f**king work,” she wrote over a black canvas. “I missed the chance to tell her I love her. And to hold her one last time. “This is a reminder to put loved ones first so you never have the excruciating regret that I have right now. F**k work. F**k the nonsense. Call your loved ones.”

She captioned the post: “I lost a friend very suddenly this week. Don’t wait til later. Don’t presume you can just grow old together. Don’t presume the world is fair or makes sense. Don’t take anyone or anything you love for granted for a minute. My heart is completely and utterly broken and I don’t think I will ever recover.”

The film , starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone, received a total of ten nominations. He also worked as a producer on films such as There’s Something About Mary, Shallow Hal, Hall Pass, and Clint Eastwood’s 2018 feature The Mule. Thomas and Isabelle have attended red carpet Hollywood events and premieres together over the years, and they most recently appeared at the 2024 BAFTA Tea Party at the Maybourne Beverly Hills on January 13 in Beverly Hills.
