In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, Veer spoke about his idea of sustainable fashion, the must-haves in his wardrobe, and the most stylish Bollywood star.

Edited excerpts from the interview:

What does fashion mean to you?

Fashion for me is authenticity, originality and the ability to express myself.

What do you do to control the pollution that fashion is causing?

I don’t think there’s any pollution. Everyone has their own perspective and their own style and that will keep changing with time and generation.

And your idea of going slow with fashion- Using and reusing stuff?

I totally believe in that. We should not only just use and throw. We should be able to recycle. I have had a lot of clothes made from plastic materials that I have converted into fabric and used that. I like to promote that as well.
