Lady Bird stars Saoirse Ronan, Timothée Chalamet reunite in Wes Anderson's The French Dispatch

Saoirse Ronan has joined the cast of Wes Anderson’s post-World War II drama The French Dispatch alongside Timothée Chalamet. Ronan made the revelation during a recent media interview. She told GoldDerby when asked if she is reuniting with the 49-year-old filmmaker: “Yeah, in the spring.” [caption id=“attachment_5783741” align=“alignnone” width=“825”] Saoirse Ronan. Image from Twitter @JosphineMamdouh[/caption] Ronan and Chalamet had previously starred together in Greta Gerwig’s 2017 film, Lady Bird . The actress starred in Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel.  Benicio del Toro, Jeffrey Wright and the director’s frequent collaborators Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand also feature in the film. Brad Pitt, Lea Seydoux and Natalie Portman are also in negotiations to join the cast of Anderson’s tenth feature. Anderson is writing as well as directing the film. Scott Rudin is on board to produce. The film has been described as “a love letter to journalists set at an outpost of an American newspaper in 20th-century Paris and centres on three storylines”. The project is currently filming at Angouleme in South West France. Ronan latest project is the historical drama _Mary Queen of Scots_ alongside Margot Robbie. (With inputs from Press Trust of India)
