La La Land screened at Jio MAMI film club; viewers call it best Hollywood film of 2016
If Twitter is to be believed, La La Land is one of the best films of 2016.
The winter of 2016 just got a little bit brighter for us; the Ryan Gosling and Emma Watson starrer La La Land is all set to release on 9 December 2016.
La La Land is a musical love story set in Los Angeles, directed by Damien Chazelle, who has also directed Whiplash. The periodical is a story of jazz pianist Sebastian, who falls for an aspiring actress, Mia in Los Angeles.
The film is already on the must-watch list of film enthusiasts, and knowing the beautiful onscreen chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, who have starred together previously in Crazy, Stupid, Love and Gangster Squad, the film is going to be a loved by many.
However, a lucky few people in India didn't have to wait till next month to watch the film.
JioMami held a special screening for a select few in Mumbai which was attended by the who's who of the film industry. Needless to say, they had some amazing things to say about the film.
