Actor and social media influencer and content creator Kusha Kapila made an appearance at Cannes back in 2023. Recently there was a meme that trolled the influencers who have access to the prestigious festival. It didn’t go down well with Kapila and she gave a long and befitting reply to all those people questioning her appearance at Cannes.
Kusha wrote- “You have taken a picture of mine from 2023, slapped on a meme that you are likely making about this year’s Cannes film festival. I have already been called out plenty that year, reflected, course corrected and done my share of apologising and never ever been seen in a place where I don’t deserve a place.”
On her weight loss
On actress Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, the social media influencer said, “My biggest problem was that I have a camera-facing job and my face was full of acne. At 28-29, my entire face was full of acne and I couldn’t understand anything. I was applying topical creams and it was not helping me in any manner.”
Kapila added, “I have made content in every shape and people have accepted me. But when that acne became so painful and it was bleeding, I could not sleep on any side of my face. Your face is your real estate, especially if you are in this business.”
On her PCOD and going to a doctor
“First of all, I went to a doctor, you know, instead of just seeing videos online. He told me I will have to undergo major lifestyle changes because I have PCOD,” she explained.
“The advice everyone gave me, whoever I met, the doctors, they said that you will have to exercise. Nothing responds to this better. So, I tied exercise to my life in such a way that I am doing this for my mental health, not for my weight,” the actress added.
