Randamoozham is the film adaptation of veteran Malayalam writer MT Vasudevan Nair’s book based on The Mahabharata. With a lavish budget of Rs 1000 crore, it is being touted as the biggest motion picture ever made in India. V.A. Shrikumar Menon will helm the project.

Mohanlal posted a video on Facebook where he spoke about being cast in this film. In it, he says, “Like many of us, I grew up to the tales of the Mahabaratha. I consider myself lucky to be named to play Bheema who is the pivotal character in Randamoozham. I am thankful to everyone who believes in me.”
