Kriti Sanon reportedly replaces Taapsee Pannu in John Abraham's adaption of The Invisible Guest
John Abraham and Kriti Sanon might pair up for the first time in the Indian adaptation of The Invisible Guest, a Spanish film. Earlier, reports of Taapsee Pannu being roped in to act opposite Abraham were doing the rounds. However, according to a DNA report, the makers have had a change of heart.
A source close to the film, told the publication that initially, Abraham and Sunir Kheterpal, who are jointly producing the film along with KriArj Entertainment, wanted to get Pannu on board.
However, Kriraj Entertainment thought Sanon was more suited for the role. The owners of the production house, Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor, loved the Raabta actor's performance in Bareilly Ki Barfi and will be collaborating her for another outing.
Therefore, according to the same report, the general consensus was that Sanon should be signed for the film, instead of the Pink actress. Pannu is currently busy with the promotions of Judwaa 2. There is no official word of confirmation regarding the replacement from neither the actors nor the producers, yet.
The adaptation will be the first directorial venture of the newcomer, Lakshaya. The film is slated to kick-off production later this year around December-January.
