Kolaveri film's first screening at New York film festival

New York National award winner Dhanush starrer “3”, which became famous for the ‘Kolaveri Di’ song, will be screened for the first time at the New York Indian Film Festival. Aishwarya Rajnikanth Dhanush, 30, who is the director of the film, is attending the festival with Shyam Benegal, Bedobrata Pain, Raju and the only Indian Judge of Emmy Awards Prakash M Swamy. Benegal congratulated Aishwarya for the selection of her movie and reminisced about his association with superstar Rajinikanth. He said that he was happy Rajinikanth’s children have taken the film industry by storm especially after the success of the ‘Kolaveri Di’ song that was heard and appreciated world over. Aishwarya is the elder daughter of Southern superstar Rajnikanth and married to actor Dhanush, who shot to fame with the Tamil-English song that he composed and sang in the film. PTI
