Koffee with Karan to be back on television; Fawad Khan, not SRK, may be the first guest

After a break of over two years, Koffee with Karan is going to be back on screen with its fifth season. [caption id=“attachment_2995454” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Koffee with Karan poster.[/caption] If a report in The Times of India is to be believed, the first celebrity to grace the show, hosted by director and television host Karan Johar, this time will be none other than the director’s new favourite Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. With Khan’s fan base steadily rising in India, the actor’s personal life has increasingly raised curiosity. What better platform could there be than the talk show Koffee with Karan to know a star? Through the show Johar has managed to get many celebrities to open up and reveal controversial details. In March this year Karan Johar had tweeted that his buddy Shah Rukh Khan would be the first guest on his show.

Shah Rukh was the first guest in Season one and two, and had made an entry in the third season as well. However the star was strangely missing in the last season. With the news of Fawad Khan being the first guest, looks like the plans have changed for the new season now. However Star World, the channel on which the show airs, has gone on Twitter to ask their audience not to believe such reports.
