Koffee with Karan Season 5: Tiger Shroff makes his Koffee debut; father Jackie to join him?
Other guests confirmed for Koffee with Karan Season 5 are Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput, Kapil Sharma and Farah Khan-Sania Mirza.
Another guest has been confirmed for filmmaker Karan Johar's infamous chat show Koffee with Karan Season 5. He is one of Johar's 'students' and will make his Koffee debut this season - Tiger Shroff.
Tiger is a part of Johar's directorial Student of the Year 2, the sequel to his superhit ensemble from 2012. As Tiger makes his Koffee debut, India TV reports that he will share the couch with his father Jackie Shroff. Incidentally, this will also be Jackie's Koffee debut on the show.
Prior to this episode, Johar has invited two father-son combinations in the past seasons. In Season 1, Amitabh Bachchan shared the couch with Abhishek Bachchan. In the first episode of the last season, when Salman Khan made his Koffee debut, he shared the couch with his father, former filmmaker Salim Khan.
In other instances, filmmaker-cum-actor Farhan Akhtar also made a short appearance in the episode featuring his father, lyricist Javed Akhtar and his wife actor Shabana Azmi. The father-daughter or mother-daughter combination seems to be more of a favourite for Johar.
In previous seasons, his childhood friend Shweta Bachchan Nanda has appeared with both her father Amitabh and mother Jaya Bachchan. In the same episode, Hema Malini shared the couch with her daughter Esha Deol. Also, Sunanda Shetty, though not a celebrity, joined her daughters and actors Shilpa and Shamita Shetty for the final segment when they were featured on the show.
While the fans look forward to Tiger's debut, they also have the next episode starring Aamir Khan and his on-screen Dangal daughters Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh on the show this Sunday. Also, other guests confirmed for forthcoming episodes of the show are Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput, Kapil Sharma and Farah Khan-Sania Mirza.
Other celebrities like Deepika Padukone-Vin Diesel, Priyanka Chopra, Athiya Shetty and Katrina Kaif are also rumoured to be featured on the show.
Vijay Deverakonda's Liger is a bilingual film that is shot in Hindi and Telugu; it will be dubbed and released in Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada. The movie is based on the backdrop of boxing and Tyson has been roped in to play a pivotal role. It also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy among others.
Rashtra Kavach Om Review: Aditya Roy Kapur starrer is another typical Bollywood actioner with no originality
The action in Rashtra Kavach Om is highly stylised with a reliance on wirework and high-speed shots and while Aditya Roy Kapur gets many moments to smoulder and look troubled, he only has a couple of scenes where he can bite into the material.
In Kapil Verma's Rashtra Kavach Om, Aditya Roy Kapur portrays the character of a commando. The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Sanjana Sanghi, Ashutosh Rana and Prakash Raj.
