Koffee with Karan: Katrina Kaif will share couch with Salman Khan or Siddharth Malhotra?
Katrina Kaif will return to Koffee with Karan after two seasons. Will she share the couch with Salman Khan or with co-star Siddharth Malhotra?
Katrina Kaif has not appeared on Koffee With Karan for the past two seasons.
Her last appearance was alongside her Partner co-star Lara Dutta in Season 2. It was reported that she is not comfortable with the format of the show where the stars are asked about their personal lives, which Kaif has always tried to keep under wraps.
However, Deccan Chronicle reports that while Kaif is looking forward to be on the show this season, she does not have a partner to share the couch with yet.
Host Karan Johar does not want Kaif to appear on the show alone. He had initially planned for her to come with her Fitoor co-star Aditya Roy Kapur. But since Kapur had date issues, he shot the episode with his Daawat-e-Ishq co-star Parineeti Chopra.
The Indian Express reports that Kaif might share the Koffee couch with her ex Salman Khan. Khan made his debut on the show in the first episode of the last season, where he also took digs at Kaif and her then-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. If the two share the couch this season, their equation will be an interesting one to decipher.
Though the two parted ways long ago, they have been on good terms and worked together in Kabir Khan’s 2012 action thriller Ek Tha Tiger. Both of them have also signed the sequel Tiger Zinda Hai and will begin filming for it next year.
However, Deccan Chronicle further reports that Johar is considering yet another actor to share the couch with Kaif if the deal with Khan does not materialise. He is considering Siddharth Malhotra, Kaif’s co-star in Baar Baar Dekho to join Kaif on the couch. Malhotra made his Koffee debut last year when he shared the couch with co-stars of his debut film, Johar’s Student of the Year, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.
