 "Kodi music launched online; no grand launch for Dhanush, Trisha Krishnan-starrer")
Dhanush has released the music album for his upcoming film Kodi. However unlike the trend these days the film did not see a grand audio launch; the music was directly released online. The Tamil superstar took to Twitter to share the entire tracklist of the film with his fans.

The Kolaveri Di singer has also sung a rap number, Kodi Parakkudha, for Kodi.

Even National Award winning singer KS Chitra has lent her voice for the album singing a lullaby titled Aariro. Arunraja Kamaraj, Shwetha Mohan and Shankar Mahadevan are some of the other notable singers for the album. Composed by acclaimed musician Santhosh Narayanan the lyrics are written by Vivek. Narayanan had earlier composed the music for Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali. The political thriller, also starring Trisha and Anupama Parameshwaran, will see Dhanush in a double role for the first time. While one will be a teacher the other will be a teacher. Kodi, directed by R S Durai Senthilkumar, is set for a Diwali release. Hear all the Kodi songs here:
