Mumbai: Filmmaker Kiran Rao, who directed critically acclaimed off-beat film Dhobi Ghat, enjoys watching masala movies as an audience but says that beyond entertainment, she also looks for good content in such movies. I don’t believe that commercial and mainstream cinema shouldn’t have any content at all,’ Rao said here Tuesday at Ship Of Theseus press conference. ‘I go to watch the so-called mainstream films for different reasons. I certainly like those films if they are giving me something new to look out for,’ she added. Currently, Rao is working on a new project, which she is still writing. IANS
