Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tied the knot in February 2023, announced their pregnancy in February 2025, and have now welcomed a baby girl. During the promotions of her film Good Newwz back in 2019, Kiara said she would like to have her daughter her co-star Kareena Kapoor’s qualities. But that statement was taken out of context recently.
Commenting on the statement that is going viral, Kiara Advani wrote- “This was said during the promotions of our film Good Newwz. Kindly stop putting old interviews out of context.”
On working with Kareena Kapoor
Kiara said back in 2019 during Good Newwz promotions, “Every time someone asks us to do dialogues… I am the one doing Poo all the time while Bebo doesn’t. I think all of us have grown up on all her films. It is iconic. I know all her dialogues, I have grown up being a fan.”
She added, “And when I see her I go like ‘how dare you? tumhein koi haq nahi banta’ And Kareena shies away saying ‘Oh God, you guys!!’ I think on that day when I wore red and it was giving that vibe of ‘Dekha tumko jabse‘ and Karan said let’s do it and we all agreed. It was pretty spontaneous.”
Last year, Kiara spoke about her love story with Sidharth and said that the actor always felt like “home" to her. “For me, he just felt like home. Everything I was with him, I just felt like I was home. That says a lot because I do come from a home where there is a lot of love, nurturing, and pampering, all of us to each other. It is such a fullfilling home that I come from that to feel the same thing with someone else, I just knew that this is it," the Game Changer actress told ABP.
