Kesari: Chapter 2 has finally hit the screen today and while it has opened to strong response at the box office, last night turned out to be quite special for the lead actor Akshay Kumar. A special screening was held for the star cast, their families and industry celebs was held last night and as Akki walked in with his wife Twinkle Khanna inside the theatre after the end credits rolled, his industry friends gave him standing ovation and complimented his performance.

Earlier talking to the media, Akshay Kumar urged the audience to not miss the first 10 minutes of Kesari: Chapter 2 . “When you come to watch this film, don’t miss the beginning. It is one of the most important films. The first 10 minutes of this film are the most important thing. I am sure that this film will reach you through your camera. The people who have decided to watch this film will know that this film has not come late. It has come at the right time. And the 10 minutes of this film starts from there," Akki said.

During Delhi screening, he made another request and said, “I humbly request you all to please keep your phones in your pockets and listen to every dialogue of this film. It will mean a lot. If you try to check your Instagram during the movie, it will be a humiliation for the film. So I request everyone to keep their phones away."

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film also stars R Madhavan and Ananya Panday in prominent roles.
