At the Kerala Literature Festival 2025, Huma Qureshi spoke about the idea of writing, the idea of stories, and a lot more. The actress said, “I don’t think people write stories. You have to allow stories to come to you. Sometimes it’s all about putting away your mind and allowing stories to come to you. For me, the way I approach my art, whether it’s acting or writing, you have to allow the creation of a story as opposed to the engineering of it.”
She added, “Sometimes, when I read something I’ve said, I feel I shouldn’t have said that. I think it’s also a reflection of my attitude towards life. Someone out there maybe be a way better writer, but it takes a lot of discipline to be able to write a book.”
Also, Mani Ratnam and Prakash Raj reunited after three decades at the Kerala Literature Festival 2025.
