Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai trailer: ALTBalaji's new show has a refreshing story line that piques interest

The trailer of ALTBalaji’s new show Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai, starring Ronit Roy, Mona Singh and Gurdeep Kohli, is out, and straight off the bat, the viewer can tell that the content and story line of the show are very refreshing. [caption id=“attachment_4378299” align=“alignnone” width=“825”] Youtube screengrab from the Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain trailer.[/caption] Digressing from the usual run-of-the-mill concepts, relationships and over the top family dramas that we are so used to seeing; Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain is the story of a couple (Roy and Singh) that are madly in love and seemingly perfect for each other. There is just one problem — Roy’s character is married to that of Kohli and they have what looks like two teenage (very vocal) daughters. The two minute 53 second trailer spans across several relationships and takes you on a journey involving everything from love, betrayal, morals, parenthood, divorce, hurt and immense happiness to everything in between. Apart from Mona Singh’s slightly strange speech affectation that makes her sound like she is out of breath throughout the trailer (and with some dialogues by the characters sounding a little too rehearsed for our liking), the overwhelming (in a good way) trailer of Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain has admittedly piqued our interest. The show has been penned by Neena Gupta and directed by Anil V Kumar. It will start streaming on 16 March.
