“Overconfident”, “rude”, and “arrogant”. That’s how the internet has described a 10-year-old contestant on Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, who has now become the internet’s “most hated kid” after his appearance on Amitabh Bachchan’s quiz show.
Ishit Bhatt, a fifth-grader from Gujarat, caught everyone’s attention with his confidence and sharp answers. But many viewers felt his tone was too snarky and disrespectful towards the veteran actor, calling him “too full of himself” for his age.
But do you know this exact moment a writer called Neeraj Singh created a similar moment three years ago as the child has gone viral on social media? Singh took to his Instagram account and shared the video and this is what he captioned:
“Full Déjà Vu !! 3 years ago, I wrote this ad for KBC. Today, 10-year-old Ishit Bhatt walks onto the same stage, bringing to life what I had once imagined for a 20-year-old. Life’s getting stranger than fiction. Parenting is going to be the biggest challenge of our society in coming years.”
**Who is the viral child?**As soon as he sat on the hot seat, his confidence soon turned into arrogance as he interrupted Big B and said, “Mere ko rules pata hai isliye aap mereko abhi rules samjhane mat baithna (I know the rules, so don’t start explaining the rules to me right now.).”
His assertive and overconfident approach was seen throughout the episode as Ishit pressed the options before they were provided and said, “Arre option daalo (Come on, give me some options).” During the time of locking the answer, he said, “Sir ek kya uss mein chaar lock lagado, lekin lock karo (Sir, not just one, put four locks on it, but do lock it).”
When Big B asked a question about Ramayana, he voluntarily asked for options and ultimately gave the wrong answer, leaving the show without any winnings.
The veteran superstar addressed the situation and said, “Kabhi kabhi bachhe overconfidence mein galti kar dete hai (Sometimes children make mistakes due to overconfidence).”
