Actress-director Angelina Jolie has been named the most admired woman in the world, leaving behind Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, Hillary Clinton, Queen Elizabeth II and even India’s Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. According to a new poll of 25,000 people, the mother-of-six and United Nations special envoy was most worthy of respect internationally, reports dailymail.co.uk. For India again it was a different story with Kiran Bedi in rank 2 and Katrina Kaif (in rank 5) and Kareena Kapoor (in rank 9) making it to the list of 10 most influential women. The most influential man in India is however Narendra Modi, followed by Sachin Tendulkar. Salman Khan took the fourth spot. In India, the poll depicted that Malala Yousafzai, the 17-year-old who survived being shot by the Talban and won this year’s Nobel Peace Prize, is the most influential woman. Sonia Gandhi and Michelle Obama also featured in the list. In India’s Most Influential Men’s list names like Jachie Chan and Warren Buffet also popped up. Barack Obama took the fifth spot while Dalai Lama grabbed the sixth. The poll was conducted across 23 countries, with each nation producing different results. You can read the full list here.
