Aanand L Rai's upcoming 'dwarf film' starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma is definitely going to be one hell of a ride, owing to Rai's past films' track record, superstar Shah Rukh Khan playing a dwarf and Bollywood's two leading ladies - Anushka and Katrina - featuring in it.

In a previous report, Firstpost had quoted Rai talking to Bombay Times about the film, saying, "All three characters have a newness about them. The film is not a romcom or a pure love story. It's about new-age relationships. I can't talk about Katrina's or Anushka's characters. While everyone knows that SRK plays a dwarf, there's a lot more to it than just that."

Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif had previously worked together in Yash Chopra's 2012 Jab Tak Hai Jaan, incidentally again with Shah Rukh Khan. Their onscreen-characters had a few important scenes together

However, in Aanand L Rai's film, it is being reported that the two actresses won't be seen together. All their scenes are with Shah Rukh Khan individually. The film's story is reportedly designed in such a fashion that one character enters when the other exits from SRK’s life, hence they never meet, reports DNA in one of its pieces.

The DNA report furthers that Anushka plays an "ordinary village girl" who loves Shah Rukh while he loves Katrina who dons the role of an actress. The story has also undergone many changes from its initial form and doesn't offer any scope of the two actresses to be seen together in the film.

Superstar Salman Khan will also make a cameo appearance in the film in a song that will be integral to the film's plot. It will be choreographed by Remo D'Souza, reportFirstpost.

The untitled project of Aanand L Rai is slated to release sometime around December 2018.
