Fashion giant Guess’s co-founder and creative director Paul Marciano has denied the sexual harassment allegations leveled against him by supermodel Kate Upton, as reported by Economic Times. The allegation  came to light through a tweet of Upton.

In response, the 65 year old Marciano has said, “Five days ago, Kate Upton tweeted that I abused my position at Guess to ‘sexually and emotionally harass women. Ms Upton provided no details. Just the hashtag ‘#MeToo.’ She leveled this malicious and false accusations only hours before a gala event at our headquarters in Los Angeles unveiling a new Guess campaign.  As of today Ms Upton still has provided no facts, no details, no dates and no circumstances to back anything she has alleged. The accusation is false. I have never touched Kate Upton. I have never been alone with Kate Upton. I have never acted inappropriately towards her,” said Marciano, as reported by Economic Times. Upton, who was once the face of Guess, has become the latest star to add her voice to the global #MeToo campaign against sexual misconduct, that kicked off following accusations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.
