It’s official. Kareena Kapoor Khan has delivered a baby boy at 7:30 am on Tuesday, 20 December. Our sources have informed us Saif Ali Khan and the entire Kapoor clan are currently at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Karan Johar tweeted the baby’s name out in a hashtag minutes after the news broke:
Kareena made her pregnancy announcement in July this year. Saif Ali Khan had made a public statement at the time, and since then Kareena has been showing off her baby bump through multiple fashion ramp shows, magazine covers, TVCs and interviews. Saif issued a statement regarding the delivery soon after:
We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son : Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection. PTI image.[/caption] Saif, who is going to be a father for the third time after Sara and Ibrahim with his ex-wife Amrita Singh, had recently spoken to HT cafe about Kareena’s pregnancy. “This age is great — you are relaxed and settled in your life, so you can share happily. I think it’s also a great expression of my relationship with Kareena. To have a child now completes us. There is something about a baby that is kind of half of mine and half of hers, so, it’s a nice feeling,” he said. Congratulations to the couple! Watch this space for more updates.
