Indian television actor Karan Paranjpe, known for his stint on the popular Star One show Dil Mill Gaye, was found dead at his residence on 25 March, reports The Financial Express.

Paranjpe was just 26-years old; his body was first found by his mother at around 11.00 am on 25 March. While no reasons have been citied immediately for his sudden death, it is reported that the actor died during sleep due to a cardiac arrest, as per Pinkvilla.

Apart from acting in Dil Mill Gaye, Paranjpe was also seen in the hit TV series Sanjeevani where he played the role of Jignesh. The show revolved around lives of doctors working in a hospital named Sanjeevani. The show starred Mohnish Behl, Gurdeep Kohli, Mihir Mishra, Rupali Ganguly.

Much like Sanjeevani, the show Dil Mill Gaye's premise was also around hospitals. The show was about budding romances among medical interns working in a hospital. The show starred Karan Singh Grover, Shilpa Anand, Jennifer Winget, Muskan Mihani and Drashti Dhami.

Paranjpe also worked as a presenter for B4U. His Instagram page has some of his previous interviews with the likes of Salman Khan.

After the news of his sudden demise, condolences have been pouring in for Paranjpe.
